Job Description

We are looking for maternity cover for an Office Assistant to join our Sales team in a family run business, we specialize in supplying and installing security products.We are looking for someone hard-working, reliable, good eye for detail and with the ability to work well under pressure within a busy office.Experience using Microsoft 365 is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering telephones.
  • Reception duties as and when required.
  • Filing as required.
  • Managing team mailbox and dealing with queries from Customers and Suppliers.
  • Logging jobs on Job Management system.
  • Billing completed jobs on Job Management system, this includes assigning VAT rates and nominal coding.
  • Distributing jobs to engineering teams and liaising with installation team as and when required.
  • Checking supplier deliveries and updating Job Management system.
  • Preparing reports for Management and Customers when required.
  • Updating spreadsheets and system as required.
  • Assisting accounts team with accountancy tasks.
  • Assisting with company accreditations such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
  • ADHOC tasks where required.
Hours Per Week: 33 HoursContract length: 6 - 7 months
