Job Description

Meraki Accountancy & Finance client based on the outskirts of Glasgow are looking to add a Finance Business Analyst to the current team, the successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the finance function by analysing financial data andproviding valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance teams, department heads, and senior management, to identify business opportunities, optimize financial performance, and enhanceoperational efficiency.Responsibilities:* Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.* Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and communicate financial performance.* Identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement within financial data and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess financial impacts, and provide financial insights for business initiatives.* Assist in the preparation of financial plans, budgets, and long-term forecasts.* Perform ad hoc financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.Qualifications:* ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified - Part Qualified / QBE candidates will be considered.* Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.* Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and statistical analysis.* Advanced knowledge of financial systems and software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial reporting tools).* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in a deadline-driven environment.For further information on the role please call Liam Fergusson on / or call Greg McDermott /
