About the organisationThis opportunity is with an Independent Fostering Agency with a successful track record of providing high quality foster families to all of their children. As a result, they are one of the most respected agencies in the sector and have an excellent reputationwith OFSTED. The IFA works acrossNorth and East London.About the roleWe are looking for a Fixed Term Contract (up to 12 months) for maternity cover for a Supervising Social Worker in our East London, Wanstead office (homebased during COVID-19) to work 4 days per week, 28 hours from 9am to 5pm (days can be discussed), with a one hour unpaid lunch break daily. For the right candidate, we may consider 3 days per week. To ensure a thorough handover, we would like the contract to commence beginning of August. The caseload will be 8 families if they are working 4 days per week which cover the corridor from Braintree to Enfield.During the current climate, homeworking is likely to continue after COVID-19 but youwill be expected to make regular visits to the office.The role’s details are as follows:
