Job Description

Science TeacherAre you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher with experience teaching Triple Science at GCSE level We are currently seeking a qualified teacher to join our team of Long-Term Supply Science Teachers to cover a range of assignments at secondary schoolsacross the Walsall area. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise, make a positive impact on students learning, and gain valuable experience in a variety of school settings.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, focusing on Triple Science at GCSE level.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students in different school environments.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are motivated to succeed and achieve their full potential.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with school staff and support teams to ensure continuity in the delivery of the Science curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and student achievement as required by the school.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in Science with experience teaching Triple Science at GCSE level.
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple school settings.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
