Job Description

Our client, a long-established manufacturer & supplier of pressed & assembled components to a multitude of industrial sectors is seeking a talented Quality/Process Improvement Engineer to join their Production Engineering team, due to promotion of the currentincumbent.The company has a solid financial footing and has seen significant investment over recent years, reflecting the ambition of the company owners.Key duties include:

Maintaining the Company Quality System
Establishing, Implementing & Maintaining Quality awareness across sites
Responsible for Continual Improvement activities to enhance the products and environment
First & Last off Inspection
Work with Cross Functional teams to Generate Manufacturing Inspection Test Plans
Develop and Introduce SOP for Key Products
Complete ISIR & PPAP
Analyze Root Causes and Implement Corrective actions for Processes or parts that have concerns
Continuously Improving Quality Procedures
Prepare Regular Improvement reports for the Group Quality Manager

Knowledge and Skills:

Previous experience in a Production Engineering environment and in a Quality / Inspection Role
Good Knowledge of SPC
Good Practical use of measuring equipment and measuring techniques
Capable of making independent decisions, whilst being appreciative of other departments
Excellent computer skills including Word & Excel
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
Attention to detail
Flexible and Trustworthy
