Job Description

Science ECTAre you looking to begin your career as a Science ECT in September 2024Can you instil a love of science for students as a Science ECT*** Science ECT*** Permanent role, full-time*** Opportunity to complete induction at a superb school*** Science ECT role, starting September 2024*** £30,000 per annumThe role of a Science ECT is to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students as they prepare for their GCSEs and end of year exams, as a Science ECT you will be joining a school with fantastic facilities that you will be able to demonstrate practicals andinteractive science lessons.The school is looking for a Science ECT to be involved within the department and within school life, this is a fantastic secondary school in the heart of Walsall that has students who are hardworking and eager to learn.Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in a Science-related field.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest and enthusiasm for teaching Science at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and inspire students in scientific exploration.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to contribute to the school community.
