Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a multibillion-pound, global organisation, who are currently recruiting a Quality Lead, for one of their manufacturing sites in Aldridge.Reporting into the Plant Manager and with a dotted line to the Divisional Quality Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to take the next step in their career into a Lead Quality role with direct reports.This role will be responsible for Leading the quality function for the plant in deploying the Quality Strategy & linked objectives and delivering Critical Solutions, Products & Services that meet or exceed Customers expectations and satisfy them.Duties and responsibilities include:* Ensure short and reactive quality loop with Customers and promptly escalate critical issues to ensure their fast & effective resolution* Propose improvements based on Customer feedback (e.g. Customer Complaints, Warranty Rates, Surveys, audits) to improve Customer Satisfaction & linked Quality Key metrics* Measure & manage suppliers quality performance & improvements (Internal & External) by ensuring regular reviews with all key plant supportive functions and in conjunction with Supplier Quality function* Contribute to development of a Quality Management System for the site* Manage all required 3rd party, internal and customer audits & assessments to detect gaps, address them through corrective and preventive actions addressing mid & long term management System improvements* Drive Quality standard deployment and Quality reporting* Drive & develop quality team and talents, to plan resources & competences on long term, through deployment of functional competencies to support the Key Strategic Quality initiatives* Drive Zero Incident Culture in the teamIm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:* Batchelors degree or equivalent is preferable in an engineering discipline* Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment* Knowledge and experience in Customer Quality, Product & Process Quality, Systems Quality* Knowledge of relevant standards, e.g. ISO9001/14001* Knowledge of international/ Customer product specifications- Understanding manufacturing technologies and processes* Understanding of customer and market requirements* Excellent communication and presentation skills* Six Sigma training or certification is desirable
