Job Description

Quality Control Manager (New Build) - Construction£37,605 - £41,425 per annumWalsall, West MidlandsContract: Full time (37 hours per week), PermanentOur client has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Manager to join their Development team during an exciting time of growth after recently securing Strategic Partnership status with Homes England.You will ensure that all projects across their development programme are designed and completed to the highest quality standard and in accordance with their design brief, contractual obligations, industry standards and Homes England guidelines. They strive for zero defects and continuous improvement, delivery on time and within budget and achieving 100% accuracy across all statutory regulations.Job requirements:

  • Ensuring the quality of development projects through on-site quality inspections, snagging, handover and post completion defects management.
  • Ensuring compliance with their design brief, contract and Homes England requirements.
  • Regularly monitoring and reporting on programme, quality and progress via accurate reports and trackers on a weekly basis.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders during construction to ensure compliance with their operating procedures.
    • What theyre looking for:
  • Someone who has extensive, relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A positive approach and the ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of current building regulations, NHBC/LABC standards and certification required for a successful handover.
  • Understanding of building contracts and the ability to read and understand drawings/ specifications and ensure they are followed.
