Job Description

Project Support OfficerLocation: Walsall Civic Centre/ Hybrid working availableHourly Rate: £13.02 per hour with potential pay increase every financial year.Working Schedule: 30 hours Monday - FridayTemporary basis, ongoing until March 2025.Are you ready to make a real impactOpus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Walsall Council for a Project Support Officer to join the Early Help Service.Key Responsibilities

  • Data input, data returns, and design of evaluation around projects and interventions
  • Providing specific support to the project officer and on a range of projects, meetings & interventions and services to children, young people and families.
  • Undertake telephone duties to internal, external partners and members of the public enquiring about parenting support programmes.
  • Support the service area to ensure up to date information and resources are available to key partners.
Key Skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Proficient in IT and Microsoft packages
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Able to input, report and analyse to a moderate level data.
  • Good interpersonal and professional communication skills.
