Job Description

Are you an experienced Production Shift Manager with a proven track record in people management If so, we want to hear from you. Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Production Shift Manager in Wednesbury, and the role comeswith a salary of £35,000 to £36.4k and excellent benefits.As a Production Shift Manager, you will manage operations and ensure KPIs, targets and business objectives are met. You will meet all requirements regarding legislation and company policy, ensuring the safety of employees, equipment, infrastructure andproducts.In your first few weeks in this flexible role, you can expect to:

  • Liaise with relevant internal departments to ensure the product is produced, loaded and dispatched in accordance with the production plan
  • Ensure operations are conducted in compliance with customer specifications, whilst meeting cost, quality, productivity and H&S targets
  • Ensure adherence to Food Standards legislation throughout the production process
  • Implement and review continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime.
To apply for this Production Shift Manager role, you will need to be an experienced Shift Manager or Team Leader who has managed teams in a similar production or manufacturing environment. You will also require the following:
  • Experience of continuous improvement in a production environment of implementing change through effective management
  • Ability to deal effectively with challenging situations
  • Proven people management skills in a diverse and demanding environment with the ability to lead and motivate the team
  • Excellent time management skills, analytical skills.
