Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our clients dynamic team.Job Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting independence and improving the quality of life for individuals facing challenges due to injury, illness, or disability. Your expertise in assessing clients needs and developing tailoredintervention plans will contribute to positive outcomes and enhanced well-being.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of clients physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine occupational therapy needs.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, focusing on maximizing clients independence and functionality.
  3. Provide hands-on therapy, utilizing therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment to improve clients motor skills and daily living activities.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
  5. Educate clients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment usage, and home modifications to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
  6. Monitor and document clients progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
  7. Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy practices and participate in professional development activities.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  2. State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  3. Proven experience in clinical or rehabilitative settings, preferably with diverse patient populations.
  4. Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  6. Compassion and empathy in working with individuals facing physical and cognitive challenges.
  7. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in occupational therapy.
  8. Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare practices and technology.
