Job Description

About the opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Merchandise Analystto join our Commercialteam based at our Customer Support Centre in Walsall. As the Merchandise Analystyou will report into the Merchandise Planning Manager and you would beresponsible for coordinating,controlling and monitoring the Wssi, lineflow and reporting requirements of merchandise and supply chain functions.As the Merchandise Analyst, you will be working cross functionallywith close relationships within the commercial team and IT to maintain and manage core systems, processes and reporting.This role will provide flexible working between our Customer Support Centre in Walsall and remote working.We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible. What youll be doing... As the Merchandise Analyst you wiill be responsible for:

  • Co-ordination and management of WSSI and lineflow process
  • Co-ordination and management of Range Plan format
  • Report management and generation
  • EDI liaison with IT and Suppliers
  • Training line flows wssinew starters etc
  • Helping to shapeWSSI and Lineflow process and procedures
  • Managing ongoing process and system improvements
What youll need... As the Merchandise Analyst you will need
  • Strong commercial understanding
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence
  • Excellent Excel Skills, Macros, code
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Minimum 2/4 years experience of Merchandising
  • Numeracy based degree level qualification would be desirable
