To support growth, they are looking for an experiencedEstimator with a focus on pre-construction to join our team.Position Overview:As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in the commercial and pre-construction teams. You will be responsible for estimating and overseeing tenders and bids for a wide range of refurbishment, redecoration, extension, and maintenance projects. This roleoffers a blend of office-based and site work, and after the probation period, it provides flexibility to work from home a few days a week. Key Responsibilities:Estimation: Accurately prepare cost estimates for various projects, considering all relevant factors, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.Tender and Bid Management: Oversee the tendering process, ensuring timely and competitive submissions to secure projects.Client Liaison: Collaborate with clients, understanding their requirements, and providing expert advice and solutions.Team Support: Assist the commercial and pre-construction teams by providing detailed cost estimates and pre-construction support as needed.Site Visits: Conduct site visits as required to assess project requirements and conditions.Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry competitors, trends, and pricing to maintain our competitive edge.Project Diversity: Work on projects in various sectors, including commercial and retail, education, healthcare, hotel and leisure, housing, and utilities & industrial.Focus on Refurbishment: Concentrate on refurbishment, redecoration, extension, and maintenance projects.Requirements:Proven experience as an Estimator with a strong focus on pre-construction activities.Knowledge of construction cost estimation, pricing, and tendering processes.Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.Familiarity with competitors in the national refurbishment sector.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Package:Competitive salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annumCar allowancePension schemeHealthcare benefitsPerformance-based bonusOpportunities for professional development and growthCollaborative and supportive work environmentFlexible working arrangementsTime Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
