Job Description

English ECT Are you an English graduate looking to begin your career within educationCan you educate KS3 & KS4 students to a good standard as they prepare for their GCSES*** English ECT*** Permanent – September 2024*** MPS - £30,000 salary*** Location – Walsall*** 72% pass rate at GCSE English in 2023The ideal candidate for the role of English ECT will have experience planning and delivering engaging lessons to students as they prepare for their GCSEs. As an English ECT you will be incredibly supported by a dedicated head of English who has been with theschool for several years and has made the department the success it is today.As an English ECT you will be given the tools and equipment you need to plan and create engaging English literature and language lessons to KS3 & KS4 students, at this Ofsted ‘Good’ school where the student’s education and well-being is the priority, this trulyis the ideal role for an English ECT.Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in English or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for fostering a love of English language and literature.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to the wider school community.
