Job Description

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Validation Manager to join an expanding organisation in Manchester on a Permanent basis. The role will be WFH, with occasional site visits for meetings to the office. The role will be paying £47,000.The Role:

  • Design, develop and implement validation processes for the LIMS service of the organisation
  • Plan and perform internal validation audits, using high level investigative processes and knowledge of validation to compile audit reports and then manage the outcomes identified across the organisation
  • Plan and perform external validation audits, accommodating visits from suppliers and then managing outcomes identified from the visit with those suppliers
  • Manage a team of three; two Test Analysts and a Validation Officer, dealing with the day-to-day responsibility of the team
  • As the face of the organisation, meet with inspectors for inspections and assessments regarding the LIMS system
  • Understand the enhanced quality management systems and have these in place to meet the increase in regulatory compliance that will be implemented nationally
The Person:
  • Previous experience within a Validation Management role
  • Have specialist knowledge of both the LIMS system as well as the GAMP5 guidelines
  • Strong knowledge and experience of delivering conclusions to validation plans for the system
  • Effective and personable communication abilities to develop working relationships within the organisation
