Agile Product ManagerCardiff or St Asaph (with hybrid working)The CompanyAt Social Care Wales, we provide national leadership and expertise in social care and early years in Wales.Our vision is to make a positive difference to care and support for children, adults and their families and carers.To do this, we lead on developing and regulating the social care workforce, service improvement, data and research to improve care.The Digital Team is a new team within our organisation that will support the implementation of our brand new, digital strategy.We are now looking for an Agile Product Manager to join our Digital Team on a permanent, full-time basis.The Benefits- Salary of £41,122 - £46,194 per annum- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays pro rata (increasing with length of service)- Extra days off between Christmas and New Year- Local government pension- Flexi work policy- Hybrid working- Family leave policyThe RoleAsAgile Product Manager, youll support the implementation of our digital strategy, working across teams to design the end-to-end journey of e-learning products and platforms.Youll embed our user centred, digital learning approach across all stages of development, providing guidance and producing an internal learning toolkit to support Project Managers to build products.Leading project teams, youll ensure products are designed according to agreed standards. Youll also be responsible for digital and technology assets and managing the calendar of activities required to ensure the product operates effectively.Additionally, youll continually identify improvements and implement innovative solutions to drive the success of our products and services, ensuring projects deliver the maximum benefit to users.About YouTo be considered as theAgile Product Manager, you will need:- Experience of user-centred design, from concept to final delivery- Knowledge of what end-to-end products look like and how to design in an inclusive, accessible way- Experience using metrics and user insight to define and refine products- Experience planning and running workshops with stakeholders, end users and/or front-line service providers- The ability to create prototypes in code- Understanding of agile processes and product lifecycle from prototypes and Alpha through beta, general release and retirement- Understanding of emerging technologies used in delivery of cloud-based software products- Excellent English and Welsh communication skills- A degree or equivalent qualificationClosing date: 5pm on Monday 7 NovemberOther organisations may call this role Product Manager, Digital Product Manager, Digital Team Manager, Product Development Manager, or Product Owner.To apply as an Agile Product Manager, please apply via the button shown.
