Job Description

Summer Lettings Assistants – Commercial TeamRequired: For 2 months, July and August 2024 (commencing 30 June 2024)Contract: Fixed term (Summer Period)Hours: Full time (to include some weekends)Salary: £11.44 per hourWe are seeking to appoint two dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and provide physical and administrative support, for all commercial activities taking place during the summer lettings period at Uppingham School.Uppingham School Enterprises Ltd is the trading subsidiary of Uppingham School, managing all of the commercial activities that take place across the school campus. Founded in 1584 and situated in a beautiful part of the country, the School benefits from bothhistoric and beautiful buildings plus modern state-of-the-art facilities, and these are used for a variety of events and activities during the school holidays. As a Summer Lettings Assistant, you will assist the Commercial Team with the day-to-day operational management of all commercial activities, ensure boarding houses and meeting spaces are prepared and ready for the arrival of each lettings group and preparerelevant information so that all clients feel welcome and that their stay with us goes smoothly and safely.The successful candidates will be friendly, approachable, and organised. You must be happy to provide physical and administrative support and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
