Job Description

WHAT COMPANY YOU WILL BE WORKING FORWestray Recruitment Consultants is looking to recruit 2 x Fabricator/Welders to commence work for our bespoke fabrication client based in North Tyneside. The role will involve providing light steel work fabrications using mild steel channels, flats, tubes and durbar plates. The role will be mainly fabricating but will involve mig welding. This is a contract role looking for an immediate start with an initial 1-month period.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Working to produce light fabrications
  • Producing bespoke items such as staircases, handrails, balustrades, flooring, etc
  • Providing light steel work fabrications using mild steel channels, flats, tubes and durbar plates
  • Working to engineering drawings
  • Mig welding mild steel
  • Working to deliver quality standards
    • WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
  • Time served Fabricator/Welder
  • History of working with light fabrications such as staircases, handrails, balustrades, flooring, etc
  • Ability to Mig weld
  • Proficient with a wide variety of fabrication tooling & techniques such as guillotines, bending machines, hand burning, etc
  • Proficient with hand tools to aid assembly
    • WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLEThis role is initially for 1 month and may run longer.
