Job Description

TYNE & WEAR (Ref 649) PERMANENT£ competitive + benefitsOur client is a respected and hugely successful business who continue to grow on a national basis, and require a experienced HR Advisor to join the team.As HR Advisor, you will provide guidance and support to line managers and the leadership team. This is an employee relations focussed role, with a variety of project work involved too.What’s involved:

  • Coach and support line managers to ensure understanding and the correct implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Advise on the appropriate processes including capability, disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, redundancy and dismissal
  • Advise on some complex ER caework
  • Collaborate with managers to understand their people challenges
  • Manage HR dashboard metrics
  • Support a culture of performance management
  • Assist with implementing and developing HR policies, practices and procedures
  • Assist the HR Manager with TUPE, restructure and redundancies
What competencies are needed:
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Clean driving licence
  • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
Experience required:
  • Full or part CIPD qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Good knowledge of all areas of current employment law and keen to maintain and update knowledge
  • Strong understanding of a people partnering approach
