OverviewAssistant Management Accountant required for a North East construction business. This is a full-time, permanent role based in the Washington/Sunderland area and is offered on a hybrid basis. Study support is also available.The RoleThe successful candidate will be required to assist in the production of the monthly management accounts, accurate month end reports and some analysis.Day to day duties will include cash flow forecasting, P & L analysis, and accruals and prepayments. Additionally, you will be required to carry out balance sheet and bank recs, cashbook posting and the posting of intercompany invoices.As this is a construction business, you will also submit VAT & CIS returns.The Person Applications are welcome from part qualified accountants (ACCA or CIMA) with some experience of monthly management accounts (preparing the components of the management accounts) and strong IT skills (in particular Excel).
