This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning vegan French patisserie. The business is rapidly expanding and now have a position open for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join their existing team.Our client has been a winner of several awards over the last 5 years, including winner of the Channel 4 program Bake Off: The Professionals. All the luxury patisseries they manufacture are served at prestigious events and locations, such as Wimbledon, Blenheim Palace and The Royal Ascot,and local favourites, such as Waterloo Tea.As Kitchen Porter you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of production. Your primary purpose will be to provide essential support to the production team and maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.What we need from you:

• You will already have experience working in a role as a Kitchen Porter
• Have experience washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, as well as cleaning countertops, stovetops, and floors
• Have basic food preparation experience, like peeling and chopping fruit and vegetables, sorting and storing ingredients
• Have an excellent understanding of food safety and maintaining health standards
• Team player and able to work on your own initiative
• Eligible to work in the UK

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining cleanliness - dishwashing and equipment care, ensuring that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
• Basic food preparation tasks, like peeling and chopping fruit and vegetables, sorting and storing ingredients, and preparing simple patisserie components
• Disposal of waste and recyclables in a responsible and eco-friendly manner
• Receiving deliveries of key ingredients and other kitchen supplies
• Stocking and organising supplies - maintaining inventory levels
• Supporting the team with various tasks, providing much-needed support during busy periods
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations

Salary/hours: up to £10.90 per hour, age dependant. Working full time, 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.Benefits:
