Job Description

Senior Murex Equity Business AnalystLocation: London (remote initially)Length: 6 months rollingPay rate: 300-500 (PAYE only!)A well-known investment bank is looking for a Senior Murex Equity Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of new functionality as well as maintenance of existing system
  • Delivery of functional specifications
  • Functional unit/integration/regression testing
    • Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Equity & Commodity Derivatives products, full trade lifecycle and market operations
  • Extensive Murex background, Murex 3.1, particularly Risk and Pnl reports/view creation and enhancement, eTradePad, FO views
  • Extensive experience of Front Office environment
  • Experience in unix (solaris), and related technologies (eg: samba, nfs), Sybase, and SQL
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding ability to tackle extremely complex problems
