Job Description

Reed HR are working alongside a large Educational Establishment based in East London who are recruiting for a Temporary HR Administrator for initially 2-3 months until a permanent employee is recruited.This role is hybrid so you will be expected to travel into the office around 2-3 days a week.Job Summary

  1. To provide full recruitment and employee relations support.
  2. To provide full administrative support to the HR function
  3. To act as a first point of contact for all queries relating to the Human Resources team.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with updating and maintaining employee records both manual and electronic on a daily basis.
  2. Updating and maintaining HR systems, eRecruitment system and databases internally, such as sick and maternity leave and any other update required.
  3. Administer and assist all aspects of the recruitment function, in terms of liaison with the HR team to ensure a high quality, responsive service is provided to meet the aims of the HR objectives:
  • Produce short-listing packs
  • Organise interviews and tests
  • Interviewing candidates
  • Prepare contracts of employment and offers letters
  • Obtain and complete references
  • Create personal files
  • Maintain recruitment files
  • Ensure that the HR undertakes all necessary employment checks including DBS checks and right to work, qualification and medical checks if required.
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the Organisationspreferred supplier list for the use of recruitment agencies.
  2. Assist with monthly management information as required.
  3. Organise and conduct new starter on-boarding processes, induction meetings with new employees and Agency workers; liaise with Line Managers to ensure they are aware of their responsibility in the induction process.
  4. Assist with probationary processes.
  5. Ensure that all payroll instructions are prepared and logged in time for the monthly payroll run and sent to the HR Coordinator, for example; new starters checklist etc.
  6. Organising formal employee relations meetings and taking accurate (and confidential) notes at these meetings.
  7. Assisting in formal meetings, such as employee disciplinaries and grievances undertaking such tasks as may be required by the Director of HR and Human Resources Manager.
  8. Assist with the management of invoices.
  9. Support the HR Manager to keep the HR pages on the Intranet and websites up to date.
  10. Assist with the booking of training and monitoring training evaluation forms and to ensure that they are inputted and filed on a monthly basis.
  11. Assist with the maintenance of the Organisationsannual training plan.
  12. Assist with the Employee Recognition Awards and the Employee Recognition budget.
  13. Assist with allocated HR projects as required.
