Job Description

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced 3rd Line engineer to provide IT assistance to our customers and be an escalation point for our helpdesk and field service engineers.Initially you will be working from home but when restrictions are lifted, youll be required to work from our offices in Tonbridge.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting 2nd and 3rd line hardware/software problems remotely. Some onsite maybe required.
  • Ability to clearly teach and communicate with the helpdesk and be the escalation point for your colleagues.
  • Managing Client Support Requests received by email and phone by capturing the correct information, triaging requests, setting, and communicating client expectations, resolving or escalating requests and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Identifying, preventing, and resolving issues using our RMM tools.
  • Ability to confidently deliver suggestions to improve Clients technical solutions that would be passed to the projects Team.
  • Working with and updating the client management system.
  • Ability to produce detailed documentation.
  • Technical Skills & Experience:
  • Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Azure Services
  • Intune
  • Windows Servers
  • HyperV
  • Powershell
  • Windows OS & Mac OS
  • Active Directory administration.
  • Routers/Firewalls
  • Good understanding of networking
  • Backup Technologies
  • VOIP Solutions
  • Exposure to MSP Helpdesk Software including RMM

  • Proven track record of working within a team
  • Self-starter - an ability to pro-actively identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting
