Job Description

Large Loss Handler for an exceptional Insurance CompanyJoin a leading team in Tonbridge as a Large Loss Handler, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of intricate claims. Your role ensures exceptional service to customers while effectively managing claim costs within policy boundaries.Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day claims, fostering clear communication with policyholders, suppliers, and loss assessors.
Conduct on-site assessments, negotiate settlements, and arrange alternative accommodations where necessary.
Collaborate with the Buildings Surveyor Team to drive timely claim settlements.
Deliver detailed reports on large or complex claims to the Claims SMT within agreed timelines.
Maintain meticulous claim files for audit and review purposes.
Oversee claim reserves and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support the Customer Relations Team in handling complaints, including those involving regulatory bodies.
Manage your schedule, arranging customer appointments and accommodations as needed.
