Job Description

An opportunity for an Business Development Manager to join an established foodservice wholesaler who specialise in great quality, locally sourced fresh meats, seafood, vegetables, fruit and other essentials for professional chefs and quality kitchens.In this fast paced role no two days are the same. Their ultimate goal is to keep the customer at the heart of everything they do and to do this you need to be excellent at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs andlooking for solutions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.They are currently looking for an established Business Development Manager to join their team. As part of this team you will be responsible for:

  • delivering sustainable sales and profit growth in line with agreed targets.
  • develop profitable new business through active canvass calling and ongoing account creation.
Your performance will be in line with agreed company KPIs including business growth and retention. You will be able to demonstrate excellent selling skills and a proven track record in regularly exceeded sales targets. Excellent customer relations and aflexible approach are essential. You will have a full driving licence and reside within or in close proximity to the territory.The successful Business Development Manager will be rewarded with a basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000, car allowance of £6,250 and an uncapped OTE of £12 - £15,000, contributory pension, 25 days holiday plus many more company benefits.
