Job Description

A well-known business in the public sector is looking to recruit a Procurement, Contracts & Compliance manager into their team.37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday 8:45am5:15pmDay to day duties include:

  • Establish and maintain external professional networks, working closely with professional partners.
  • Lead, as appropriate, on high value procurement activities with a value over OJEU levels, working closely with the Senior Management, Heads of Departments, Budget holders and the Deputy Principal on identifying the most cost effective and efficient procurementroute whilst ensuring compliance with any Legislative, Funding or Regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular Contract Management Team reports on Value for Money obtained or any savings achieved.
  • Act as a Line Manager for the Procurement & Contracts manager and the Commercial Services manage
  • Assisting the Procurement team in compliance with best practice, national and European laws, and company procedures.
Requirement:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a procurement environment
  • Knowledge of the education and/or public sector procurement
  • Level 2 qualifications in English, Maths & IT
  • Awareness of Finance purchasing procedures
