Job Description

Skilled LabourerOverall Job Purpose: Our client is looking to recruit a Skilled Labourer/ Concrete Finisher to join their busy team based predominantly in the South West. The ideal candidate will have a good level of construction experience in a commercialenvironment and be able to produce high quality concrete finishing.Responsible to: Site ManagerMain Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertake a range of tasks on site as directed by the Site Manager or Project Manager including concrete, drainage, kerbing and moving materials and equipment.
  • Use mobile systems to record the work on site
  • Undertake routine maintenance of tools and equipment, completing all the relevant log sheets.
  • Make sure that security protocols are followed when storing tools and equipment.
  • Always be compliant with health and safety requirements and the companys Health and Safety policy.
  • Any other duties that may reasonably be requested by the Site Manager, Project Manager or Contracts Manager
Person Specification
  • Experience of using a range of equipment and machinery such as excavators/dumpers/telehandlers.
  • Experience with concrete, drainage and kerbing is essential.
  • The ability to work prioritise tasks to meeting changing business needs
  • Excellent time management and personal organisational
  • Be able to work well in a team environment and under your own initiative,
  • Have the ability work to instruction and to deadlines and be highly motivated.
Qualifications and Certification
  • Hold a current CSCS card
  • Full Clean Driving licence
  • You will be expected to have a DBS security check
