Shift Porter / CleanerBlundells School, Tiverton, DevonAbout UsFounded in 1604, Blundells is a co-educational independent school for pupils aged 3 - 18 years. Boasting excellent facilities and the best in pastoral care, we are committed to providing an outstanding learning experience for all students.We are now looking for Shift Porters / Cleaners to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.The Benefits- Minimum salary of £21,649 per annum- Generous contributory pension scheme- On-site parking- Uniform- Cycle to work scheme- Childcare vouchers- Free lunches in the school dining room (when served)- Use of our sports facilitiesThe RoleAs a Shift Porter / Cleaner, you will support the day-to-day running of our school through a range of individual and team activities, supporting students and staff and cleaning the premises.Reporting to the Head Porter, you will:- Provide staff and visitors with a respectful, consistent and high-quality service- Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, workshops, labs, small meeting rooms and halls- Specialist cleaning of bathrooms and hard floors- Help to set up and dismantle areas for concerts, lectures, meetings and events- Move furniture and equipment- Deliver items to areas around the schoolHours of Work40 per week. Term Time: Two-week rota that includes 6 early shifts (7am - 4pm), 2 middle shifts (c11am - 8pm), 1 late shift (c1pm - 10pm) and two half days (Wednesday and Saturday c7.30am - 11.30am).
