Job Description

Fantastic Opportunity to join an Independent Award-Winning House Builder in the Tiverton area, in a varied and exciting customer services role. Monday to Friday with an 8am - 5pm hours and competitive salary in the region of £28-31,000 per annum.This full-time position with a Highly Competitive Salary commensurate with experience, including 25 days annual leave and pension contribution.Responsibilities will include, but not exhaustive:

  • Be the first point of contact for all enquiries relating to occupied homes
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Assess validity of warranty claims, declining action where necessary
  • Liaise with all relevant parties to resolve warranty defects within published time scales
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Schedule appointments for Customer Service Technicians
  • Order materials as required
  • Obtain quotations for chargeable work as required
  • Work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Collate property information packs for Housing Association homes prior to occupation
In order to fulfil this important, busy role the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally
  • Have a calm and professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, ad experience in Microsoft Access
Desirable
  • Experience in New Build Housing
  • Able to think independently and react quickly to changing situations
  • Able to prioritise workload and adapt to conflicting demands
  • Ability to work with the Customer Service Manager to identify recurring issues so that these can be prevented in the future.
