Job Description

Green Orchard Recruitment are partnering with a market-leading Mid Devon based business, who specialise in supporting the leading housebuilders and developers in the UK to deliver high quality sustainability advice, assessments, and on-site testing services.Having experienced record growth during 2022, our client is continuing to grow and are therefore recruiting a self-motivated IES Modeller to work on domestic and non-domestic projects.Role:

Salary:
  • c.£35,000 per annum (36.25 hours a week)

This is a remote position, however if you would prefer to be office based, our client is based in Tiverton (Mid-Devon). A full driving licence is preferable as attendance at design team meetings may be required on occasions.Key responsibilities of the role
  • Running Part L assessments for non-domestic buildings and modelling options to ensure compliance
  • Producing building models using IESVE
  • Running dynamic and simplified overheating risk assessments as well as modelling mitigation methods
  • Liaising with colleagues and clients to ensure all project objectives are met
About you
  • Have experience of using IESVE software (essential)
  • Have an ability to visualise in 3D and interpret technical drawings
  • Be able to self-manage a busy and time-critical schedule of work
  • Have prior experience in a client-facing situation
  • Have excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Be a team player and maintain good humour in times of stress
  • Have a full, valid driving licence
