This employer have over 12 years experience, and are the leading installers and developers of biomass boiler systems. Highly experienced in design, supply, and installation of renewable energy technology, selling approaching a thousand boilers nationwide to date. They are looking to expand their engineering department with the appointment of a commercial pipe fitter. They offer a competitive package, and the opportunity to build a long-term career in a well-established Biomass CompanyKEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Undertake commercial (biomass) boiler installations and project work Nationwide- Undertake parts lists, and accurately assess labour requirements- Troubleshoot issues over the phone, asses part requirements and attend breakdowns to repair - Undertake servicing and maintenance of boilers when required- Provide detailed reports and further action for breakdowns, including parts lists and labour requirements- Ensuring all H&S processes and procedures are adhered too, and maintain up to date knowledge- Regularly working away during week, and weekend work when requiredMinimum Core Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:- NVQ (2) in Plumbing and Heating- Commercial Plantroom installation experience Practical knowledge in repair of mechanical equipment preferential- Ability to proactively work and contribute as part of a team and on own initiative.- Effective skills in planning, organising and prioritising personal workload - Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, other trades and clients - Microsoft office suite- Good level of written/spoken English- Full Driving License- Desirable Qualifications- Experience in welding & Biomass- CSCS Card- IPAF/PASMA licenseBenefits- Permanent 37.5 hour week plus overtime- Wage depending on experience - Pension- 21 days Holiday - Overnight expenses paid when working away- Mobile Phone- VanPersonality and disposition: - Flexible attitude - Can be relied on to meet tight deadlines - Initiative and judgement to resolve problems - Committed to both their work and personal development - Well-developed analytical and problem solving capability - Interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
