Interaction Health and Social Care are working with a local Childrens home and due to an internal move are now looking for a passionate Registered Manager for a children’s home based near Tiverton.This role involves supporting children from birth to 18 years who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex medical needs.We are looking for a talented Registered Manager or strong deputy to oversee our specialist service.The Role:* Working closely with the operations manager, you will ensure the successful operational management of the service.* Utilising your experience, you will hold responsibility for the homes regulatory obligations.* Leading a talented staff team, you will understand the importance of coaching and development.* Extra responsibilities include a strategic input into the companies development, business growth, engaging with new authority partners and internal inspections.The Candidate:* To be successful in this role you must have experience of within residential childcare setting.* You will carry a Level 5 qualification in Social Care Leadership.* Have at least 2 years experience in a management role* We are looking for someone who is a talented leader so a track record of staff improvement and training is a must.Skills and abilities:Stability: Emotional resilience and maturity.Balanced perspective.Creativity: Ability to be imaginative but practical about childcare Drive to see things through Flexibility.Capable of performing a wide variety of tasks
