Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking business based in Bedford, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a brand-new role created to provide crucial support to the operations team, with a particular focus on assisting Project Managersin achieving their objectives. Collaborate closely with Project Managers to develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and project performance
Responsible for smaller project costs, ensuring that all costs and benefits are robustly calculated
Support in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts
Help identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Liaise with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met
Engage in ad-hoc financial projects as required

To be successful in the role of Management Accountant, you should possess:

Accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA or ACMA)
Proven experience in Management Accounting or Finance Business Partnering role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exposure to working in a Project Led business would an advantage but not essential
