Job Description

Are you looking for a new role as a Teaching Assistant If so, this could be the role for you!A Primary School in Thornbury, Bristol, are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their school ASAP.Your role will be to support children throughout the day including lunch in order to support pupils to develop their social communication, co-operation and play skills. social and emotional development, speech and language skills and motor skills developmentsometimes under the guidance of specialist agencies.You will help to provide a range of support, planning (under guidance from specialists), resource, deliver, monitor and review progress for children with SEND on individual /group programmes or support plans within the classroom.You will be required to take responsibility for individuals / groups of children with identified areas of need; providing interventions as appropriate to meet the needs of the school and to support the children in class with their work as directed.You will need to have energy and enthusiasm as well as a good sense of humour and resilience and a good knowledge of English and Maths.Previous experience working with children is not essential, however we are looking for someone with self-drive and proactiveness.If youre interested, please get in touch!All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
