From design through to installationand maintenance, we are committed to excellence in managing and meeting our clients’ requirements and expectations.We are currently recruiting for:Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager - RetailAs Project Manager you will have the responsibility for the safe delivery of projects across the retail sector, in line with the commercial expectations in a timely mannerThis job description outlines the key accountabilities of, and output required from, the post holder. It is not definitive list and the role may well change and evolve over time.Key ResponsibilitiesThis is a varied role which will see the successful candidate cover a range of tasks and include duties such as:

  • Survey potential projects across the country in line with client requests
  • Liaise with supply chain and prepare quotations
  • Collaborate with the clients respective management teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure all customer requests are acknowledged and contractual obligations are met
  • Hold responsibility for the procurement and coordination of materials, utilising better buying practices to maximise commercial gain
  • Ensure sufficient installation labour is sourced to meet the project requirements
  • Ensure all projects are closed within the timelines agreed
  • Ensure all legislative documentation is collated and issued in line with company ISO9001 procedures
  • Create, issue, and monitor all CDM plans / aspects of the project
  • Take accountability for the project Health & Safety including toolbox talks / site audits and ensuring all aspects of the site are carried out in line with current legislation
  • Hold responsibility for expenditure on projects allocated
  • Lead the post project completion phase working with administration teams
  • Be available at programme critical times including outside of normal working hours (travel and flexibility is essential in this role)
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as requested
Key Skills and Personal AttributesEssential
  • 5+ years’ experience of successfully delivering HVAC / building services contracts
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve, providing resolutions
  • Ability to prioritise work and deal with opposing demands
  • Positive attitude
  • Commercial awareness
  • IT competent - all key office products to an advanced level
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety & the environment
  • Receptive and adaptable to change
  • Full driving license
  • CSCS card
  • Proven track of delivering of projects between £25k - £500k
Desirable
  • Educated to HNC level
  • Experience working in the retail sector
  • Experience of both M&E services
  • IOSH Managing safety or NEBOSH qualified
