Job Description

Do you have people management experience and looking for a new challenge Juice is excited to be supporting a leading manufacturer based in Thornbury in their search for a Production Team Leader.You will be:

  • Managing a team of 5-6 staff (absence, sickness, disciplinary procedure, 1-2-1s)
  • Support the team with training and development
  • Ensure that team members follow assembly procedures and comply with quality requirements
  • Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly
  • Quality control
  • Escalate any quality issues to higher management
  • Ensure the team are made aware of and achieve daily production targets
  • Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations
  • Monitor and maintain all safety equipment and tools and ensure that operators comply with PPE requirements
  • Monitor the department’s objectives, including where appropriate physically supporting the production function
  • To step back into a production operator role when manning and workflow constraints make it necessary
  • To maintain a sufficient understanding of the Production Shift Managers role, to enable you to fully deputise in their absence
You will have :
  • Have strong team people management skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work on own without supervision
  • Knowledge of motivating teams and using initiative
  • A background in warehouse/manufacturing/production would be desirable

Shift pattern
  • Week 1: 6am-2pm Monday-Thursday & 6am-1pm Friday
  • Week 2: 2pm-10pm Monday-Thursday & 2pm-8pm Friday
