Job Description

We are recruiting a Food and Beverage Manager for our beautiful golf venue, conveniently located on the outskirts of Bristol.Two golf courses, 25-bay floodlit driving range, 11-bedroom lodge and a multi-faceted Clubhouse with two event rooms and a bar and grill. Competitive salary of £30,000 to £34,000, and £2000 performance related bonus.Overview of RoleWe are looking for a dedicated, creative food and beverage manager to join our management team. You will have had prior leadership experience in hospitality and understand the importance of leading from the front.A personable and approachable nature is important, we are in the people business, intrinsically committed to your work and driven to achieve both our service and commercial goals.In return we provide a progressive and supportive environment to build on your current skills and hospitality experiences, whilst ensuring that a healthy work life balance is maintained.
  • To oversee the daily clubhouse operation, and to manage all departmental resources and employees.
  • Maintain the existing food and beverage service and develop new concepts and strategies that ensure the highest possible level of service and repeat business.
  • Maintain appropriate bar stock and ensure stock control measures are in place.
  • Liaise with our Head Chef in regard to any kitchen matters that might impact the service offered in the clubhouse.
  • Reviews all bookings for catered activities and events, ensure both appropriate preparation is made in advance and smooth delivery.
  • Work closely with the General Manager with ideas for service improvement, strategies for revenue growth, and health and safety issues.
  • To be aware of all current legislation, including health and safety, food safety and employment law and ensure compliance.
  • Adopt a hands on and flexible approach to all aspects of work and be supportive of others.
