Job Description

Field Service EngineerBristol area£30,000 with Realistic OTE £45,000Full Time, permanent positionImmediate start availablePhs Wastekit are looking for a Field Service Engineer who is great at fault finding. Ideally with a background working on balers, compactors, forklift trucks or within the REME, to attend customer sites and to carry out engineering tasks to equipment.Previousexperience with hydraulics, single and three phase electrical equipment and/or pneumatics would be ideal.In return for your expertise as a Field Service Engineer

A day in life of a Field Service Engineer for phs Wastekit
  • You will be working from home and visiting customer sites to repair balers and compactors.
  • Liaising with the call controllers and line manager to plan the daily work to maximise our productivity and carry out work to the highest standard.
  • You will be taking ownership of any engineering issues such as testing equipment, fault finding and repairing equipment in line with our customer service level agreements.
The ideal candidate for the Field Service Engineer role
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with an understanding ofhydraulic and electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic principles and useelectrical and hydraulic test equipment.
  • Compliance with regulations and instructions according to our policies.
  • Able to complete all paperwork accurately and clearly. This will include paperwork or electronic data on parts used, time taken and the safe keeping of stock and stock balances / replenishment.
