Job Description

About the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available to work within a beautiful, small primary school in the Thornbury area.The school are in need of some 1:1 support for a lovely, quiet boy. He doesnt display particularly challenging behaviours, but he cant be left to his own devices for too long! The school would love to meet with anyone interested at the school to get anidea of viability.If this role sounds of interest, please get in touch with me ASAP!This exciting opportunity would see you performing the following duties day-to-day;

  • Creating exciting learning opportunities for children and following their interests
  • Working as part of a team to develop room routine and curriculum
  • Observing, record-keeping, assessing and planning
  • Promoting health, well-being and placing emphasis on the benefits of outdoor play
  • Adhering to children’s personal care and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment
  • Working within the law to safeguard children’s rights
  • Creating positive partnerships with parents and carers
About youYou should demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team to provide good outcomes for all children. You should promote positive, inclusive practice and act as an excellent role model for other staff members.
