Job Description

Part-time - 20 hours a weekMy client is a customer centric and forward-thinking fleet management organisation looking to hire a proactive and flexible Purchasing Administrator to join their friendly team. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that vehicle purchasing is completedaccurately and in a timely manner and to provide day to day support to the business.Responsibilities:

  • To process all requests regarding vehicle availability, delivery progress options pricing, demonstration requests, daily reports and general enquiries
  • To raise vehicle orders ensuring all relevant information is sent to the vehicle suppliers
  • To progress vehicles on order to ensure timely receipt of stock details and prompt delivery to the customer
  • To liaise with the account management department and suppliers to ensure vehicles are delivered to all parties satisfaction
  • To provide support to the Business Development team in the preparation of tender bids and sales proposals
  • To monitor supplier performance and report any issues to the Supplier Relationship Manager, attending review meetings with vehicle suppliers as required
  • To process related invoices and compile reports as required
  • To manage the order process between internal and external suppliers following department processes;
The ideal candidate will have extensive administration experience and the ability to deliver high levels of customer service. You will also be able to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure. You must possess clear communication skills, bothin writing and verbally. It is important that you are highly proficient in MS Office applications with the confidence and ability to learn new systems and technology.Whilst we would love to be able to respond to every application we receive, it is not always possible.
