Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for several ambitious candidates to join a well-established food delivery company to join their warhouse team on a permenant basis. You must be a motivated, reliable and driven individual who has the desire to learn new skillsand grow with the company.Job Responsibilities: As a warehouse Operative your duties will include:

  • Loading and offloading the vans;
  • Fork lift Licence desirable;
  • Picking, packing and carrying the goods;
  • Any damages must be notified to the Warehouse Manager;
  • Stock Taking Responsibilities:
  • Stock rotation when restocking the warehouse;
  • Accompany and assist drivers with deliveries;
  • Manage and deliver timely, accurate and reliable information in accordance with agreed reporting structures;
  • Keeping the area clean and tidy at all times;
  • Documentation handling and taking ownership to make sure goods and paperwork tally;
  • Health & Safety Compliance;
  • Meeting company expectations and adhering to company policies;
  • Actively aim to meet objectives which support the companies mission, objectives and core values;
  • Work proactively with colleagues across the company and report any issues that need resolving to your Manager;
  • Carry out duties within the general scope of the post, which may be assigned from time to time;
Candidates must be physically fit and fully flexible. This role also requires heavy lifting in the warehouse and out on the road with delivery drivers as and when required. All Training Provided - Apply Today!Shifts and Salary:Shifts are varied, start time can be any time from 6am and finishes are up until 10pm depending on work load. Weekend work as and when required.Age 18-20 £9 - After probation wage will be enhanced to £9.5021-22 £9.1823+ - £9.50Salary: £19,760 -£24,700 plus 1x5 pay for bank holidays per year
