Job Description

Do you have experience of working in the lighting industry Do you have experience of implementing quality systems in businesses Im recruiting on behalf of a company based in Warrington who have been relatively unaffected by the pandemic to recruit for a Quality Technical Support Specialist.Job Overview:To Provide technical, data, advice and support to customers and colleagues including contractors and lighting industry professionals. Ensure that all quality reporting requirements are met and delivered to the global quality manager.Additionally, this role will establish training programmes to develop both product champions amongst the internal and external sales teams and provide a further “added value” service to our customers.Working closely with a number of different departments from Customers Service and Sales, on site teams and clients you:

  • Resolve customer technical complaints/queries, within agreed timescales and service level agreements.
  • Be the first point of contact for colleague technical queries.
  • Compile, provide and distribute technical literature/documentation to customers and sales teams.
  • Quality checking lamps and luminaires.
  • Compile and distributing technical literature/documentation to customers and the sales team.
  • To manage the required measures to comply with Health & Safety law including any and all COSHH considerations and any relevant risk assessments
  • Undertake physical application and analysis techniques for product testing/assessment at the on-site test centre ensuring you comply with the relevant Health and Safety law and relevant risk assessments.
  • On-site support for customers, contractors and end users as necessary.
  • Provide basic lighting design schemes using Relux/Dialux following training.
    • Ideally you will have electrical qualifications or experience of working in the lighting industry.
