2nd line Support/Desktop EngineerWarrington/Remote£35K+ BenefitsA 2nd line support engineer is required for our client who are based in Warrington. This is a hybrid role. The client are going through an exciting period of company growth, so its a great time to join their busy IT team. The engineers role is to providetechnical support for a range of internal systems, help maintain computer environments, assist with 2nd line support for complex issues all whilst working to agreed quality standards and service level agreements. The role is based in the Support Centre inWarrington but they are happy to discuss a hybrid working pattern with some days working from home as well as some days travelling to sites.Key responsibilities/ Duties- Install, configuration and support of ..o Desktops & laptops via SCCM/EndPoint Mgr (InTune)o Tablets & Mobile deviceso Software including 3rd party software (configuration, troubleshooting and documentation) Incident & Change ManagementRaising CRs where needed as an outcome of Incidents or problems Utilise tools including -o M365o MDMo ADo Azureo PowerShell (Not essential) Work alongside the Senior Engineers on a variety of Strategy projects (Documentation, testing, planning etc) Collaborate and be involved in activities to ensure knowledge development in the team Assist in providing BAU support to the business Assist in providing ad-hoc support to the business where agreed either remotely or on-siteSkills/Experience Ability to prioritise workload over a variety of tasks. Ability to complete tasks methodically, with an eye for detail Operational IT Support experience, ideally gained within a multi-site, complex network environment.
