Role: Joinery Manager (Doors & Floors)Location: Stoke on TrentSector: Building Materials / Timber / Hardwood / Doors / FlooringSalary: £30-40K Basic plus bonus - Weekdays Only!We are recruiting a professional sales individual within the building supplies sector. This new role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real name for yourself within the company, and be responsible for the success of a new department which can beaided by the existence of an already vast customer base which can be used when needed.There is a new building just finished on their existing site that will house the Doors and Flooring Department and this is what you will responsible for. Your team will grow as the business grows. Doors of all kinds will be available from this new departmentas well as solid flooring, engineered flooring and commercial flooring.As a Joinery Manager you will have a sales background within the construction supplies sector and ideally knowledge relating to doors and flooring products. Any previous experience within hardwoods, timber, joinery or sheet materials would be a definiteadvantage as below.We would be very keen to hear from you if you have proven sales experience in timber and timber associated products: doors, timber flooring, sheet materials, carcassing, joinery, trusses, engineered wood, decorative panels, laminating, skirting, door jambs,panel products, specialist softwood, hardwoods etc.This role will require someone outgoing and confident who will be able to win new business to establish the company in this new market but also they will be able to sell new product lines to existing customers. This means you will have numerous ways of gainingsales. The company has a great reputation within the timber field so this will give you a good start instantly. You will build relations with larger contractors, local builders and developers, joiners, shop fitters and the general public.This is a fantastic role within a leading company within the builders merchants / timber merchants industry.
