Job Description

Job Title: Facilities OfficerPosition: Full time, permanentLocation: South YorkshireSalary: £27, 128REED Further Education are recruiting a Facilities Officer to support the Head of Estates and Facilities at an Education Group based in South Yorkshire.Our client is looking for a Facilities Officer to coordinate day to day operations of a busy Facilities team. You will also lead on one of the team responsibilities which will be; Facilities Staffing, Training & Development and Contracts, Group Estate andFacilities compliance or Contracting, procurement, budgeting.The successful Facilities Officer will have the following skills and qualifications:Proven experience within the Facilities Management sector or within a similar role or environment. You should also have experience, or a good knowledge of leading/supervising a successful team. You will be able to confidently use Group software packages and have an ability to learn how to use other software quickly therefore excellent IT skills are essential. You will hold a Level 2 literacy and numeracy (or above) and have a facilities management qualification. Ideally you will also have qualifications, and experience in First Aid at Work and IOSH / Health and Safety.Benefits of working for our client:
