This position is to commence in January and for the right candidate it could be for the rest of the academic year.Our partner Academy are happy to consider applications from NQTs and experienced teachers.The Academy is situated on the Outskirts of Rotherham with easy access either by public transport or has a large onsite car park for staff driving in. It has a history of excellence in Science, Engineering and Technology and has been rated "GOOD" in all aspects.For this DT Teaching position, you will be responsible for:Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for DT Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as on their personal and social needsMarking work, giving appropriate feedback and preparing students for exams in line with GCSE requirementsTo be considered for this DT position you will:Hold Qualified Teacher Status or UK equivalentHave recent relevant teaching experienceBe an outstanding DT teacher with excellent curriculum subject knowledgeHave the legal right to work in the UKBe an organised, enthusiastic proactive personHold an enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)As a Sunday Times Top 100 employer, were committed to putting candidates & staff first
