We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join or friendly, professional team in Swindon on a 6-month fixed-term contract.We at Oak Furnitureland are going through an exciting transformation, to fulfil our ambition of "helping people make their house a real home" delivering quality, stylish products at accessible prices.With a change in ownership in 2020 the company has gone through a period of cultural transformation, and we now have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to work with us on a fixed-term contract for 6 months.The main purpose of the Supply Chain Analyst is to work with the sourcing department and suppliers to deliver procurement requirements and oversee performance analysis and stock maintenance for a range of product categories.You will be looking at product trends, promotional trends etc, to deliver efficient stockholding in line with business requirements and to provide analysis and reports as required.Working with the wider supply chain, you will identify and implement operational improvements around order placement and work with the sourcing department to ensure customer order flow and inventory management targets are maintained.With high levels of accuracy and the ability to work at multiple levels of granularity, the Supply Chain Analyst will use their experience and knowledge to prepare order releases in line with the business forecasts and requirements, monitor stock flow, and highlight and implement actions to resolve any issues.The role is based in our Swindon Head Office 2/3 days a week and we can offer homeworking for the rest of the week if that is your preference.Key Responsibilities:
