Job Description

Our rural South Lincolnshire based client is looking for an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join them on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is an interesting order management role requiring someone with strong computer skills, accurate data entry andexcellent communications skills.You will be:

  • Responsible for translating customer requirements into orders
  • Placing the order with the supplier, agreeing lead times and delivery times
  • Recording information accurately
  • Chasing and checking all orders are on schedule
  • Maintain and update information on the system
Key skills required:
  • Confident and professional listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite and strong Excel skills
  • Excellent organisation skills, accurate data entry
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, remaining calm under pressure
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills
