Job Description

Our rural South Lincolnshire based client is looking for an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join them on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is an interesting order management role requiring someone with strong computer skills, accurate data entry andexcellent communications skills.You will be:

Responsible for translating customer requirements into orders
Placing the order with the supplier, agreeing lead times and delivery times
Recording information accurately
Chasing and checking all orders are on schedule
Maintain and update information on the system

Key skills required:

Confident and professional listening, verbal and written communication skills
Experience in Microsoft Office suite and strong Excel skills
Excellent organisation skills, accurate data entry
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, remaining calm under pressure
Effective time management and problem-solving skills
