M&E Estimator - Commercial & School projects - permanentA multi discipline Contractor based near Wisbech are actively seeking a M&E Estimator / Draughtsman due to their continued growth. They offer a wealth of experience in the commercial sector providing M&E services to main contractors and end user clients.They operate in various sectors with projects including commercial office installations and refurbishments, new school construction projects and refurbishments, laboratory space installations and turn-key projects.The M&E Estimator will have the following duties and responsibilities: · Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard · Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from mechanical & electrical specialists · Liaising with other members of the estimating team and Contracts Managers · Carry out estimates using electronic packages · Develop working relationships with design consultants, main contractors and clients to establish communication paths. · Working through full cycle of tender submissions: Preparation, negotiations, presentation, submission and feedback · Managing PQQS (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire), RFIs (Request for Information) or RFP (Request for Proposals)Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience: · Strong negotiation skills · Confident communicator · Proficient in material take offs and able to read drawings · Knowledge and preparation of O&M Manuals · Knowledge of Estimation software and CAD· Confident in Mid Tender and Post Tender Interviews in front of the client team · Happy to work on their own running multiple enquiries simultaneously · Proficient in all Microsoft Office software.This position offers a fantastic career path for the right candidate, for more information about this role or keen on a new M&E Estimator opportunity within the Building Services sector (Electrical Estimator, Mechanical Estimator, M&E Estimator) please contactAdam Brown on or or
